About Us
Rifle Middle School is located in Western Colorado in a small town named Rifle. We are found off I-70 between Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction. We are a 5th - 8th grade middle school with just under 800 students. Our area has had a lot of recent growth due to oil shale reserves and new rigs that can be used for drilling.
Approxiamately 105 6th graders will be using the Polar Science Project site (this is half of our 6th graders).
